The Hunter Valley, New South Wales; Is this Australia’s premier wedding destination?

Of course we’re referring to The Hunter Valley, located in New South Wales, 2 hours north of Sydney.

In our experience, it’s definitely one of the premier locations for couples getting married.

It is filled with beautiful scenery, amazing wineries, plentiful accommodation for your guests, as well as all the ancillary services you need to host the most amazing destination wedding; transportation, catering, pubs, accommodation, wedding vendors.

The Hunter Valley wedding scene definitely centres around Pokolbin, with 22 of our complete list of 64 Hunter Valley wedding venues located here. It’s no surprise then, that the next most popular locations directly surround it; Lovedale, Rothbury, Broke, Wollombi, Laguna & Cessnock.

SCR Music has played music at more than a few weddings in the Hunter Valley. Given our musicians specialise in acoustic duo music for weddings, this vibe fit perfectly with what the Hunter Valley wedding scene is all about.
